Dive into "The Maze and the Beast," a captivating top-down 2D adventure developed for the Jackie Codes Jam. Challenge the shadows as you manoeuvre through a magical, ever-changing labyrinth, racing against a beast's hunger in a quest for survival.

Gameplay Overview

In this gripping survival game, you play as a lone wanderer dropped into a mystical maze alongside a menacing beast. Your mission is simple yet perilous: gather scattered food pieces throughout the maze and deliver them to the beast before it becomes too hungry. Failure is not an option—navigating quickly and wisely is key to survival.

Features

Dynamic Mazes: Each level of the maze is uniquely generated via a seed that players can input, offering new challenges and paths with every game.

Controls: Control the character with intuitive arrow keys or WASD movement, complemented by a space bar or E for various actions.

Enhancing Potions: Discover potions that increase your speed to outrun dangers or light up the dark recesses of the labyrinth.

Winning the Game

The ultimate goal is to beat all the mazes. With each victory, the complexity grows, but so does your skill. Can you adjust to the evolving challenges and emerge victorious from the shadows of the maze?
